Travel interstate 70 west to Frederick. Then continue
I-70 west to Hagerstown, MD. Follow I-70 West to Exit
32 for Route 40 West. Follow 40 West into Hagerstown.
40 West will turn into Franklin Street. At the intersection
of Franklin Street and Potomac Avenue, turn left. The
parking deck will be on your right about half a block
from that intersection. Exit from the front of the parking
deck and turn right. When you reach the square make
another right and our building will be across the street
at 33 West Washington Street.

From Cumberland, MD: Travel Route 40 east to Hancock,
MD; then travel interstate 70 to Hagerstown, MD. - then
Travel interstate 70 east to Hagerstown, MD. Take 81
North to Rt. 40 East into Hagerstown. You can park along
the street or if you wish to use the parking deck you
will need to take a left on Llocust St. Then take a
left on Franklin St. ,then a left on N. Potomac St.
the parking is in the middle of the block. Agency is
located on the next street, (W. Washington St.) next
to the alley. Use first door next to the alley, we are
located on the third floor.
From Martinsburg, WVA: Travel interstate 81 north
to Hagerstown, MD. -
From Winchester, VA: Travel interstate 81 north to Martinsburg,
WVA; then to Hagerstown, MD. then take Rt. 40 East into
Hagerstown. You can park along the street or if you
wish to use the parking deck you will need to take a
left on locust St. Then take a left on Franklin St.

SIGNAGE |
Installation:
The City of Hagerstown installs handicap signs
in public parking lots and on public streets.
These signs designate parking spaces for any vehicle
that has an approved handicap license plate or
a certificate on the mirror. The City only installs
handicap signs that have been approved by the
Motor Vehicle Administration (MVA).
Regulations:
Handicap spaces in front of a dwelling are reserved
ONLY for that resident and not for any other resident.
Acquisition:
To obtain a handicap sign in front of a dwelling,
the occupant needs to contact the MVA and follow
its approval process. After MVA approval, the
City will then install the handicap sign. Call

PARKING SPACES |
Operation:
Parking meters in the downtown area operate from
9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday – Friday.
Saturday and Sunday are free. Meters in the hospital
area operate from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., seven
days a week.
Cost:
Meter parking costs 25 cents per hour, except
for red colored 30-minute maximum time meters
that are 25 cents per ½ hour. For more
